Diaphorite

An extremely large (13 millimeters long), crystal of the rare silver sulfosalt – diaphorite. The crystal is incomplete on the front side but very well terminated by crystal faces on the side. Additionally, there are two intensely striated crystals, about 1 mm in size, present among the dense needles of steel-gray boulangerite on the sample. It is a representative sample of one of the most sought-after Příbram minerals. Příbram is one of the co-type localities of this mineral. The sample was analyzed.
