Jouravskite is a globally rare mineral. It occurs at only six localities. On the sample, jouravskite forms small, hexagonal, glassy lustrous crystals of light yellow to canary color. Individual jouravskite crystals sit atop chalky white, matte spherical aggregates of xonotlite. All the aforementioned minerals sit on an orange-colored and dark grey substrate rock. This is a very aesthetic and nice specimen of the mineral from the South African Republic.
