Jouravskite is a globally rare mineral. It only occurs at six locations. On the sample, jouravskite forms small, hexagonal, glassy, lustrous crystals of a light yellow to canary color. Individual crystals of jouravskite sit upon chalky white, matte globular aggregates of xonotlite. All the above-mentioned minerals rest on an orange-tinted and dark gray base rock. It is a very aesthetic and nice specimen of this mineral from the Republic of South Africa.
