A very well-developed specimen of the extremely rare oxide of arsenic and zinc – leiteit with its typical pearly luster and mica-like cleavage resembling cellophane. Most leiteit specimens (of which there were only a small number overall) come from the germanium-rich zone in the deeper part of the Tsumeb mine. The crystal dimensions are 2 × 2 cm. The specimen comes from the type locality, which is also the only known locality in the world.
