A vein of red, metallic luster proustite, occurring in association with gray, metallic luster, tabular crystals of sternbergite. This vein reaches a thickness of up to 2 cm. Small, but undamaged crystals of sternbergite occur mainly in open cavities. It is a very high-quality specimen of these rare silver minerals. The sample originates from Fundgrübnerg, 2.p level of the Svornost mine in Jáchymov. For both of these minerals, Jáchymov is the type locality .
